Goodwin Park is a spacious recreational park near the town center and the beach, offering various facilities and activities for visitors. It features a fully fenced playground, a skate park, picnic tables, BBQ areas, public toilets, a dog-friendly off-leash zone, and an oval for playing rugby, soccer, or football. Easy street parking is available, as well as a car park across the street.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
